Your Job Molex is looking for an experienced Indirect Sourcing Engineer to join our Global Indirect Sourcing team. As a part of this role, Sourcing Engineer will be responsible for the ongoing Indirect Sourcing activities , streamlining procurement process and ensuring alignment with the respective BUs initiatives and goals. Our Team Responsibility includes Sourcing Indirect Categories for Manufacturing sites of Molex India What You Will Do Execution of Sourcing and Buying activities for Indirect Categories such as Machinery, Facilities, and MRO. Lead the Buying process working with the internal stakeholders to meet their business requirements. Initiate ideas and actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing activities Review and Negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring compliance to procurement process Seek opportunities for total cost improvement across supply base including vendor consolidation, volume leveraging and commercial negotiation. Lead the KPIs pertaining to souring/buying role, proposal review and risk analysis. Competent to use different sourcing/buying tools such as bidding/Auction. Analyze industry trend and evolving technology to proactively identify supply issue in minimizing risk, ensuring Business continuity plan (BCP) and exploring emerging opportunities Drive and manage suppliers overall performance, conduct periodic performance review with vendors Collaborate with Global/Regional Category Management team in cost savings initiatives. Drive Auction activities for saving opportunities Driving VAVE initiatives and process optimization Comply to purchasing/sourcing procedures, SOP, ISO procedures and other requirements from time to time Drive and manage Special projects whenever assigned. Assist Indirect Sourcing Center as and when needed on any reports or assignments/ projects given Promoting PBM (Principle Based Management) culture and Molex branding in the long run Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 5+ years experience in supply chain, preferably in Indirect Sourcing Procurement expertise in categories: Machinery, Facilities, and MRO Procurement Process knowledge and costing awareness, of machinery and spare parts related to Engineering, molding, stamping, plating, tooling, and assembly.
