Job Summary If you are looking for an opportunity to grow in Proposals function, Emerson has this excellent role for you! The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for providing proposal support for Measurement business (pressure, temperature, level, DP flow) across India. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Perform technical review of customer s enquiry and make note of key points Get agreement with key stakeholders on offering strategy Work with Specialist on customer s non-standard requirements Identify clarifications / deviations / assumptions against customer specifications Develop timely & error-free proposals Assist in resolving technical queries from customers Maximize usage tools such as Oracle GQF, CRM, Product Advisor, MyEmerson. Resolve unclean issues of customer s Purchase Order Maintain up to date knowledge of existing products, complete training to develop additional skills and new product knowledge. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and drive improvement opportunities. Who You Are: You take action quickly and critically in constantly fast-paced and unexpected situations. You Are always customer focused and work to optimize the processes in order to achieve favorable results. You are an active learner who collaborates within and outside the team effectively. For This Role, You Will Need: Strong working knowledge of Pressure, Temperature, Level measurement technologies. Strong ability to drive results and action oriented in a highly matrixed organization will be key point for considerations. Flexibility to work long hours to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Degree in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in related Proposals function. Excellent problem-solving and analytical acumen with written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. .
