Job Description

Hi all We are hiring for Engineer- Sales (Parts & service ) for a heavy machine manufacturing company 1. Job title: Engineer Sales (Parts & Service) 2. Reporting to: AGM (Parts & Service) 3. Supervises (direct reports): None 4. Place of work: Arebannimangala - Bangalore / Pune 5. Indicators of the jobs scope/size of responsibility area: Responsible to attend customer enquiries & providing best commercial / Technical solution & offer for Inductor and spare parts. 6. Job summary: Overall purpose/motto of the position of my job is to support customer as per their requirement with minimum cost to the company & gaining marginal profit to us as per company standard policy. 7. Essential responsibilities and tasks: a. To acknowledge customer enquiry, b. Immediate update to the customer. c. Submit our best offer/quotations to customer. d. Following up for the orders. e. Try to reduce/adjust lead time for spare parts as per customer requirement. f. Reporting to dept. Head about daily activity. g. Ensure that customer has satisfied with our support. h. Updating customer about out development related to our application. i. Visit customer place regularly 8. Authority: a. Authorized to provide discount to customer on quoted prices(with a guidance of dept. Head) b. Authorized to inform priority schedule to concerned department (Design, Manufacturing, Store etc.) c. Authorized to finalize scope of supply to get the order. d. Authorized for give delivery commitment to customers. 9. Interaction: Complete with company / EIN organization, Customer, Internal all Departments. 10. Measurable targets: a. To reach Annual sales targets. b. Satisfy customer with their requirements. c. To make high/margin profit as per company standard. d. Immediate response to customer queries. e. Improve customer relationships. etc.... f. Ensure customer keep faith about our organization support. 11. Knowledge and skills : a. Good communication skill, b. Capable to convince customer & solve the customer queries. c. Design Reviewing skill. d. Basic computer knowledge with soft ware, (Ms, office ERP Internet etc..) e. Knowledge about mechanical aspects & basic knowledge about electrical aspects related to company power source./ machinery. f. Smart working skill, 12. Education/work experience: Diploma/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engg. & 2 - 4 years of experience in sales & marketing in a technical firm. 13. Specific considerations : a. Individual performance to be reviewed by the company authority once in a 3 months, which will be helpful us to overcome our mistakes and learn more. b. Need support from all other internal depts. which helps to us as a sales person to support customer in a more good manner. c. Internal depts. has to be undergone about basic training about market situation & how to support customer with the coordination with sales person. d. Needs technical training on technical aspects related to company application and about competitor strength & weakness.
