Job Description

Summary of the Role: Programming and setting on CNC Turning, VMC, HMC machines (Make-BFW, Makino, Mazak). Hands on working expertise in CNC controller of Fanuc, Siemens and Mazatrol - New parts initial setting work and prove-out - Fixture, tools loading on machine and doing the initial setting work offset and Tool offset - CNC program preparation, perform part cutting trials on CNC machine and part prove-out - Cycle time improvement trials and proving on CNC machine for the existing running part. - Shop support activities on CNC machines and post machining operations in SPM. - GD&T and part drawing reading expertise, fixture knowledge, machine peripheral knowledge. Roles & Responsibilities:- To ensure CNC Program preparation for new part and new part cutting proving To ensure Cycle time reduction by muda removal method To ensure validation Trials at supplier end for Fixtures, Leak testing and assembly Machines etc before dispatch clearance to JHI Responsible for achieve Process capability in machining critical dimensions To ensure implementation of ECN and PCN related trials in existing parts machining and post machining operations Functional Requirements : Knowledge of IATF 16949 system and other PPAP related machining documentation. New product machining experience - minimum 5 years Good knowledge about Machining Process and CNC programming Engineering Drawing knowledge, GD&T Good Communication skill Thorough Knowledge of trouble shooting Able to implement Pokayoke New part development awareness Capable to understood machining and post machining Process Sheet CMM report understanding and co-relate with part dwg for CNC machines corrections analysis Responsible for showing continuous improvement in machining process quality performance Desired Skills for the Role Able to work independently for setting jobs in CNC machines. Leadership Flexibility to work in demanding environment Very good knowledge and practical working on Lathe ,VMC and HMC machines, problem solving , basic knowledge of SPC, PPAP and APQP process Education Requirements : 1. Education DME (Mechanical) 2. Experience - Min 5 - 7 years of working experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering department. (Must have worked in machining process of Aluminum parts for Automotive parts) Desired for the Role - Working knowledge in CNC Machines.(Like Makino, Mazak and BFW make machines)
