Job Description Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer Reporting To: Department Head Location: Jamnagar Position Summary: The incumbent will be responsible to run Production and planning (PPC) of particular vertical department in efficiant manner to achive the production target, ensure that quality standard is maintain consistently and reduce the rejections. Roles and Responsibilities: Release the production and process plan to the process department based on customer requirements and scheduling, and review it daily. Generate MIS reports including Plan Vs Actual, On-time Vs Late manufacturing, On-time Vs Late delivery, Planned consumption Vs Actual consumption, and On-time Vs Late purchasing of material. Manage effective utilization of 6M management (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement, and Motherland). Be involved in planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes. Review material shortages and work with SCM and part inspection teams to mitigate material shortage risks. Manage production and planning as per the capacity. Handle the clean up and set up of the machines used in the work process, ensure not only that the proper number of pieces are produced but also ensure that the line and the machines are ready for future use as well. Tracking and managing daily production progress. The material handling should be proper and it involves the movement, storage, control, and protection of products and materials throughout the manufacturing process. Maintain safety standards at the premises and ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained. Skills Required: Proficient production and planning skills to monitor production and process plans. Production scheduling expertise. Ability to grasp process concepts easily. Knowledge of material usage: Zinc, Brass, MS, SS, Aluminum. Excellent knowledge of SAP PP Module, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong communication and coordination skills. Educational Qualification and Experience: 1. M. Tech with 3 years of experience. 2. B.Tech with 5 years of experience. 3. Diploma with 9 years of experience.
