We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our powder coating team. The GET will undergo training and gain hands-on experience in powder coating processes, equipment handling, surface preparation, quality control, and safety protocols. This role is ideal for engineering graduates who are eager to start a career in surface finishing and coating technologies. Role & responsibilities Learn and assist in operating powder coating equipment, including spray booths, curing ovens, and material handling systems. Understand and execute the standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to powder coating. Assist in surface preparation techniques such as cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment (phosphating, sandblasting, etc.). Monitor coating thickness, surface finish, and adherence to quality standards. Work with the quality team to conduct inspections and ensure defect-free output. Support maintenance and cleaning of coating equipment and work areas. Document daily production activities, defects, and process improvements. Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all operations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for continuous process improvements. Preferred candidate profile B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Chemical Engineering (or relevant field) Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in manufacturing or coating operations Basic knowledge of powder coating or surface finishing is a plus Strong learning attitude and willingness to work in a shop-floor environment Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Willing to work in shifts.
