Job Description: English Tutor for Grades 6th to 12th (CSR Initiative) Position: English Tutor Location: Noida Employment Type: Part-Time (as per project requirements) Target Group: Children aged 10-18 years (6th to 12th grade) from low socio-economic backgrounds Job Objective To provide high-quality English language instruction to students, focusing on enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while fostering their confidence and overall personality development. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver interactive English lessons aligned with the CBSE/State Board syllabus. Focus on grammar, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, essay writing, and spoken English. Skill Development: Develop students' communication skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication. Prepare students for public speaking, debates, and other extracurricular activities. Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' progress and identify areas for improvement. Provide constructive feedback to students and share progress reports with the CSR project team. Classroom Management: Create an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment. Use creative teaching aids, games, and activities to make learning enjoyable. Individual Support: Offer personalized attention to students struggling with English and help them build confidence. Collaboration: Coordinate with other subject tutors and the CSR team to align teaching strategies. Engage with parents (if needed) to ensure consistent learning outcomes. Required Qualifications and Skills Educational Qualification: Bachelors/Masters degree in English, Education, or a related field. Certification: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) qualification is preferred. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is an advantage. Experience: 5+ years of teaching experience, preferably with middle and high school students. Experience working with underprivileged children or in a CSR initiative is a plus. Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning levels.
