Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing. Role Overview Support various development activities using NX Open; TC e.g., Coding, Testing etc. Develop/enhance NX/TC custom applications meeting customer/end user’s expectations Support measure product health metrics and use to drive improvements to product Develop process improvement scripts using Java, Python etc. as needed Participate in scrum ceremonies to ensure that deliverables are on track ensuring good quality The Ideal Candidate Ideal candidate should have experience in NX-Open APIs for development of custom CAD applications with good knowledge of .NET & MFC Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline: Around 3-4 years of relevant experience: Use of NX-Open APIs for development of custom CAD applications with good knowledge of .NET & MFC Good hands-on exposure to NX-Open API development with NX manager, TC - ITK / SOA programming & TC modules (including RAC/AWC exposure) Strong knowledge of C/C++ & C# Knowledge of assemblies Preferred Qualifications Good knowledge of various NX applications like Modelling, assemblies, drafting, Manufacturing Good understanding of UFUNC / NX-Open APIs and their functionalities Ability to translate design intent into NX-Open API program in a TC integrated environment Exposure and understanding of knowledge fusion Basic understanding of TC configuration and customization Understanding of SCRUM process and work in AGILE environment Whether we are manufacturing components for our engines, driving innovation in fuel and noise reduction, or unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver more productivity, our GE Aerospace teams are dedicated and making a global impact.
