Collaborate with legal, indirect sourcing, and site leads to develop contractual agreements that protect the organizations interests, foster strong supplier relationships, and optimize value delivery. Cost Optimization: Analyze spend data, market trends, and renewable energy option dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities within the commodity category. Drive initiatives to negotiate competitive pricing, optimize supplier terms, and streamline procurement processes globally. Supplier Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supplier performance within the commodity category globally. Conduct regular performance reviews with 3rd party vendors, address issues, and drive improvement initiatives to ensure utilities and services are maintained to protect site operations and contracts improved or negotiated per agreement terms. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate sourcing and supply chain risks within the commodity category globally. Monitor contract dates with execution planned to allow time for contract renewable prior to expiration dates. Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, operations, sustainability, legal, tax and finance, to align sourcing activities within the commodity category with overall supply chain objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance supply chain efficiency, and sustainability support and optimize global operations. Market Intelligence: Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies related to the specific commodities globally. Conduct market research, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to identify new projects, evaluate capabilities, and leverage market opportunities. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide sourcing expertise, and ensure alignment with business needs. Qualifications Education Essential: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or engineering Experience Desirable: 8-10 years of experience technical skill set engineering, sourcing, energy management Technical Essential: Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on specific commodities on a global scale.
