Job Description

Role & responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain the Water Treatment Plant including RO, softeners, filters, chemical dosing, and other related equipment. Maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and ensure treated water meets regulatory discharge standards. Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance. Monitor and record key parameters such as pH, TDS, turbidity, DO, and flow rates. Operate chemical dosing systems and adjust treatment processes based on test results. Identify operational issues and carry out basic troubleshooting. Keep accurate records of operational data, maintenance activities, and chemical usage. Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repair or technical interventions. Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations strictly. Preferred candidate profile We are looking for an experienced and responsible Water Treatment Plant Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain water treatment systems, including Reverse Osmosis (RO), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and related water purification and wastewater treatment equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations and compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Personal Attributes: Leadership qualities with the ability to guide and motivate a team. Good understanding of water quality testing and monitoring instruments. Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations in water treatment. Excellent communication and team management skills. Prepare and submit daily operational reports to senior management. Keep detailed logs of maintenance activities, water quality parameters, and any incidents or accidents. Maintain compliance with all regulatory documentation and records.
