Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BODS Developer/Consultant with strong experience in data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data migration using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP BODS architecture and be able to design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to integrate, cleanse, and transform data from various sources into SAP environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and other technical experts to deliver high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities: SAP BODS Development: Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using SAP BODS for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources (SAP and non-SAP) into SAP environments (SAP BW, SAP HANA, etc.) using SAP BODS. Ensure data consistency and integrity across the platforms. Data Transformation: Develop and optimize complex transformations to cleanse, validate, and process data. Create reusable transformation components to streamline future development efforts. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize SAP BODS jobs and workflows to improve performance and reduce processing time. Data Quality Management: Implement data quality rules within SAP BODS, ensuring that the data delivered is clean, accurate, and conforms to business standards. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with business users, data architects, and other technical teams to understand requirements, define ETL processes, and ensure data flow meets business objectives. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot issues in SAP BODS jobs, and resolve data-related problems. Support SAP BODS in both development and production environments. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation related to SAP BODS processes, jobs, transformations, and troubleshooting guides. Best Practices and Standards: Follow industry best practices and internal guidelines for SAP BODS development, including coding standards, error handling, and testing procedures.
