SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: The Executive Editor - Information & Features (Hindi) will strategically lead content planning and delivery for Jagran.com’s Hindi Entertainment, Astrology, Auto, Tech, and Business sections. This leader will manage editorial teams, set quality benchmarks, foster content innovation, and ensure alignment with JNM’s objectives. A key focus will be on expanding reach, boosting user engagement, and establishing jagran.com as a premier Hindi news website in these vital content areas. Key Responsibilities: 1- Strategy: Chart content direction for Entertainment, Astrology, Auto, Tech, Business; align with Digital India's goals and audience needs. 2- Execution: Drive planning, creation, editing, and publishing of high-impact, accurate content across text, visuals, video, and interactive formats. 3- Team: Steer editors and writers; cultivate a high-performing, collaborative environment with clear goals and growth opportunities. 4- Standards: Enforce editorial rigor, quality benchmarks, and ethical storytelling across all output. 5- Audience: Analyze data to optimize content, expand reach, and boost user engagement via strategic content placement and social media tactics. 6- Innovation: Champion new content formats and technologies to elevate user experience and stay ahead of industry trends. 7- Collaboration: Partner with product, tech, marketing, and sales for seamless content delivery and unified strategic execution. 8- Finance: Oversee budgets for Information & Features, ensuring efficient resource management and cost-effectiveness. 9- Compliance: Guarantee all content adheres to legal and ethical frameworks, including Gen AI, copyright, and journalistic integrity. 10- Performance: Track key metrics for content success, audience interaction, and team productivity; provide regular reports to senior management. Job Specific Knowledge & Skills: 1. Market Insight: Deeply understands the Hindi online news ecosystem, including audience behaviors and competitive dynamics. 2. Editorial Acumen: Possesses sharp news judgment and a proven ability to identify and develop engaging news and feature content across diverse verticals (Entertainment, Astrology, Auto, Tech, Business). 3. Language Proficiency: Exhibits exceptional Hindi writing, editing, and proofreading skills, demonstrating a strong command of the language and attention to detail. 4. Digital Expertise: Experienced in creating and managing digital content across various platforms and formats, including text, visuals, video, and interactive elements. 5. Online Optimization: Understands and applies SEO best practices and social media strategies to maximize content visibility and audience engagement.: 6. Data Literacy: Capable of analyzing website and social media metrics to inform content strategy, decision-making, and performance evaluation. 7. Education: Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Hindi Literature, or a closely related academic discipline. 2. Experience: Minimum 20 years of progressive newsroom experience, with a substantial focus on the digital media landscape. Proven track record of leading and managing significant digital news teams or content divisions. 3. Impact: Demonstrated success in conceiving and executing content strategies that have demonstrably expanded audience reach and enhanced user engagement. 4. Domain Expertise: Prior professional experience covering content areas such as Entertainment, Astrology, Auto, Technology, and/or Business is a significant advantage. 5.
