Role & responsibilities Inspect raw materials (fibers) for consistency and defects. Monitor spinning process parameters (speed, tension, twist, and humidity). Conduct routine quality checks on yarn strength, count, evenness, and imperfections. Use testing equipment like Uster Tester, Tensojet, and HVI for quality assessment. Identify and rectify production defects in real time. Maintain detailed records of quality reports and deviations. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with machine operators to correct quality issues. Reduce waste and optimize production efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis on defective products and implement corrective actions. Develop and implement quality standards and guidelines. Oversee compliance with industry regulations (ISO, ASTM, etc.). Conduct periodic audits of the production process. Analyze trends in quality data and suggest improvements. Train employees on best practices for quality maintenance. Work closely with suppliers and customers to meet quality expectations. Approve final products before dispatch. Ensure a continuous improvement approach in quality management. Maintain documentation for certifications and audits. Handle customer complaints related to quality and provide resolutions. Preferred candidate profile Any Graduate / Diploma in Textile / B. Tech /BE in Textile Perks and benefits Negotiable.
