Role & responsibilities Job Title: Executive / Senior Executive Civil Department: Engineering / Maintenance Location: Daund Reporting To: Manager – Projects (Civil) / Head – Engineering Experience Required: 3–6 years in civil engineering, preferably in industrial or chemical plant construction Job Purpose: To assist in the execution, maintenance, and management of civil engineering projects and ensure smooth construction, operation, and maintenance of civil infrastructure at the plant. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution Support: Assist in planning and supervising civil works such as foundation, building construction, roads, drainage, and utility infrastructure. Ensure the timely execution of projects according to project timelines and plans. Site Supervision: Monitor the daily site activities and ensure that construction work is progressing as per design and specifications. Ensure quality control and safety measures are adhered to on-site. Material Management: Help in procurement and management of construction materials, ensuring that materials are delivered and used efficiently. Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries. Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks and inspections of work carried out by contractors and ensure compliance with technical standards. Record and report any non-conformities or deviations from design. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate between different departments (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Liaise with external contractors and vendors for day-to-day activities and material supply. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily site reports, progress updates, material logs, and safety audits. Assist in preparing reports for senior management regarding project status, cost control, and potential issues. Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety standards and regulations during the execution of civil works. Conduct site safety audits and report on potential hazards. Key Requirements: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience: 3–6 years in civil engineering roles, preferably in industrial or chemical plant environments Skills: Good knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and techniques Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools Strong attention to detail and quality control Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations Good communication and team coordination skills Preferred Industry Background: Aroma chemicals, specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, manufacturing, or process plant industries Preferred candidate profile
