The Export Sales Head is responsible for driving international sales, developing global markets, managing key accounts, and ensuring revenue growth. The role requires expertise in international trade, business development, and regulatory compliance for export operations. Key Responsibilities : 1. Sales & Business Development Develop and execute export sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify, establish, and manage relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners. Conduct market research to explore new business opportunities and analyze competitors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with overseas buyers and distributors. Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities in new and existing markets. 2. Export Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs requirements. Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and production teams to ensure timely deliveries. Monitor and manage export pricing strategies, currency fluctuations, and trade policies. Handle Letters of Credit (LC), export documentation, and payment collection from international clients. 3. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, trade organizations, and customers. Provide after-sales support, resolve customer issues, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Represent the company at global trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events. 4. Financial & Reporting Responsibilities Prepare and analyze export sales forecasts, budgets, and market trends. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to export sales. Work closely with finance teams to manage international transactions and financial risks. Key Requirements: Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Agriculture, International Trade, or a related field. Minimum 8-12 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the agriculture input or agrochemical industry . Proven track record in developing and managing international markets. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of international trade laws, logistics, and export regulations . Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience in B2B sales, distribution management, and channel development . Familiarity with export documentation, LC, and Incoterms . Ability to travel internationally as required.
