Job Title: GM / DGM - Extraction Production Location: Kakinada, AP Company: Lyfius Pharma About Lyfius Pharma is 100% subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma. Its largest API Unit of Aurobindo. Lyfius spread across 236 acres in Kakinada SEZ and it is second largest API manufacturing facility in ASIA. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated personnel for Extraction manufacturing department with 18+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Qualification: BE / B.Tech Chemical Engineering Experience: 18+ Years Responsibilities: - Managing end to end operations of extraction block. - Running Operations for extraction of various products/byproducts. - Experience of handling all-round operations - Know- how of Pharma industry standards and ensuring all compliances for smooth operations of Unit - Knowledge and experience of quality Systems and Standard in the relevant industry. - Ensuring Day to day troubleshooting and consistency in quality in all products and byproducts - Efficient and profitable sales and effective customer relationship management both internal & External - Develop and work upon a short term and long term strategy for business. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Implement safety protocols and procedures, and conduct regular safety audits and training sessions. - Investigate and address any incidents or near-misses, implementing corrective actions as needed. Quality Assurance: - Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain and improve product quality standards. - Implement quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure consistency and adherence to customer and regulatory standards. - Address any quality issues promptly, implementing corrective and preventive measures. Budget Management: - Prepare and manage the solvent extraction department budget, monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings. - Manage inventory, ensuring optimal levels of raw materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production. Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare regular reports on production, efficiency, quality, and safety metrics for senior management. - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of production processes, safety protocols, and quality standard
