Factory Manager

Job Description

Oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production goals and deadlines are met. Develop, implement, and review production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency. Monitor product quality throughout the production process and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure the timely procurement of materials and supplies needed for production. Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Procurement departments to ensure material availability. Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of factory supervisors, workers, and technical staff. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and ensure continuous training to enhance skills and productivity. Ensure that staffing levels are adequate for production requirements, managing labor resources efficiently. Monitor workplace conditions and identify risks, implementing mitigation strategies. Develop and enforce quality control processes and procedures to ensure high-quality sports products. Analyze production data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to reduce defects and enhance product quality. Resolve production issues promptly and ensure corrective actions are applied. Prepare and manage the annual factory budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in production. Oversee inventory control, ensuring proper stock levels of materials and finished goods. Maintain open communication with customers and suppliers to ensure production meets quality, delivery, and cost expectations. Respond to customer concerns or quality complaints promptly and take corrective action when needed. Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and cost-effective purchasing of raw materials and components. Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and take corrective actions when necessary to meet targets.
