Job Description

Collaborate with top management in setting and driving organisations global vision, operations strategy and hiring levels - Priority is to build daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual monitoring and reporting systems across Indian and global entities - Align financial plan with Chart of Accounts and to allow for budget vs actuals comparison - Ensure accounting team is competent and ensuring efficient capture of all required data and setting systems by drafting policies and tracking metrics to prevent any misuse, fraud etc -Ensuring that provisional entries, accrual transactions and bank reconciliation is done on a regular basis -Manage all compliance in India related to PF, ESI, PT, GST, TDS and reconciling them on a monthly basis. Ensure all compliances for MCA are up to date and coordinate with auditors and corporate secretaries for matters related to various government departments. -Ensuring robust reporting systems feeding into an operational monthly MIS and also tracking items not regularly tracked for book-keeping such as name of products sold, unique customers, average order value, CaC, LTV. Cost centre and Profit centre demarcations for analysis -Financial Planning, participating in investment pitches, negotiations with banks -Managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods, setting clear systems for purchases, stores and dispatches -Connect with CPAs and our legal team in the US to ensure all US and other foreign market compliances are in order. This includes state and federal direct taxes, indirect taxes, registrations, payroll, BEA registration etc. The 5 key pillars of the Finance Managers role are Accounting, Compliance, Business Finance / Reporting, Treasury and Fundraising
