Finance Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled finance controller/Sr. Manager to lead financial reporting, compliance, and working capital management. The role involves overseeing monthly book closures, financial statement analysis, and revenue monitoring to ensure accuracy in accruals and billing. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards and company law, manage internal controls, and coordinate audits for timely closures. Role: Finance Controller/ Designation: Sr. Manager Finance Location: Hyderabad ​ Reporting To: Head of Finance Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Monthly book closure. Preparing and analyzing financial statements. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations. Should possess adequate knowledge of compliances under Companies Act to work with Secretarial team. Working capital management: Managing finance processes - accounts payable, receivables and treasury. Revenue monitoring : This role requires thorough evaluation of revenue every month to ensure no lapses on accruals and billing. Internal Controls: Working with other departments to standardise processes and establishing. Auditing: Coordinating with statutory and tax auditors for timely audit closure. Requirements: Education: CA with 6 to 8 years of experience, preferably in a SaaS industry. Experience : Previous experience of working with a start up and handling Big6 auditors is preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Skills: This role requires excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, leadership and problem-solving skills. Technology: Proficiency in accounting software - Zoho is preferred.
