We are recruiting for Finance Officer for Mumbai, India. The selected candidate will be responsible to oversee the routine operation of the finance cell. Ensures that all target dates are met with timely submission of reports to Head office and that transactions are verified and recorded in line with financial policies and procedures. Accountabilities Ensures that all routine department workload is complete, on time, and carried out to an acceptable level of accuracy. Timely and proper month end closing as per HO target dates. Timely delivery of month end reports to HO as per set target dates. Reconciliation and control of all balance sheet accounts. Timely collection and control of receivables. Timely settlement and accounting of payables. Variance analysis and control cost. Production on payroll in accordance with QR and statutory requirements. Timely delivery of Cash Outflows as per HO target dates. Processes Bank Reconciliation of all bank accounts and submit as per HO target dates. Control the cost/ budgets by identifying and highlighting any overspends. Ensure no avoidable losses from chargeback or o/s debts. Review and rectifies all accounting documents with correct allocations in timely manner before month end closing. Reviews and ensures that all monthly expenditures is properly allocated and is accounted for on an relevant GL accounts, accruals and prepayments as required. Accuracy for accruals to be maintained, advise corrections amended as Master maintained (Q-Bit) in Head Office to ensure financial records. Ensures timely posting of all vendor invoices and setting off with prepayment, obtain necessary certification of all services received from relevant department as per QR policies and procedures and DOA. Reviews the fund status regularly and ensures timely submission of Bank Balance, intimating Head Office of any deficit and in event where there is a possibility of Funds being overdrawn to avoid interest being charges. Arrange for remittance of funds as and when required by detailing out the requirement and providing Head Office with list of presented cheques (if any) and Supplier outstanding Invoices/ statement for Head Office references.
