Job Description: FinOps Analyst - Manager Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FinOps Analyst Manager to lead and optimize cloud financial operations across our organization. This role involves driving cost-efficiency, strategic cloud financial planning, and providing actionable insights for decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, cloud platform expertise, and experience in cost management. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Financial Management: Lead cloud financial operations (FinOps) strategies and best practices across teams. Establish and maintain policies for cloud cost management and optimization. Develop cloud spend forecasts and budgets to align with business needs. Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Drive cloud resource rightsizing, reserved instance utilization, and waste elimination strategies. Data Analysis & Reporting: Design and deliver actionable cloud cost and usage reports to stakeholders. Provide real-time dashboards to track KPIs and business metrics related to cloud costs. Collaborate with engineering, finance, and product teams to analyze spending trends and recommend actionable insights. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact between engineering, finance, and operations teams for cloud financial management. Support contract negotiations and vendor relationship management for cloud service providers. Process Improvement: Build and refine FinOps frameworks for scaling cloud cost operations efficiently. Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements related to cloud spending. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Masters preferred). 10+ years of experience in cloud financial operations, cloud cost management, or a related field. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cost models. Proficiency in FinOps tools such as CloudHealth, CloudCheckr, or AWS Cost Explorer. Excellent financial acumen and experience with budget planning and forecasting. Proven problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
