Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Fire & Safety Officer to oversee fire safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in fire safety management, emergency response planning, and training staff on fire safety procedures. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensure fire and safety compliance related to building structures, services, alterations, and maintenance. Procure fire safety materials; identify and liaise with vendors. Conduct evacuation training for mobility-impaired personnel and maintain evacuation aids such as fire blankets, masks, and fire warden kits. Coordinate with CREFM for fire equipment maintenance and report updates to the Security Head. Liaise with the Fire Brigade and external teams for compliance and emergency support. Monitor fire incidents and fire alarm activations, providing corrective actions and reports to internal stakeholders. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as directed by the Security Head. Maintain MIS records and prepare monthly reports on fire safety issues. Work with building management authorities and other tenant representatives to ensure fire safety compliance. Conduct risk assessments and patrols to identify fire hazards in storage areas. Facilitate fire warden training programs and advanced fire-fighting sessions for selected staff. Eligibility Criteria: Education: HSC and Diploma / Degree in Fire & Safety. Experience: Minimum 3 years in fire safety management. Age Limit: Up to 40 years at the time of selection. Physical & Medical Fitness: Must be physically and medically fit. Skills & Attributes: Pleasing personality with professional behaviour. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Computer literacy is essential. Strong team player with excellent coordination skills. Other Requirements: No involvement in union activities or political affiliations. No history of police or court cases.
