Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fitter Technician to join our factory team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding, metal fitting, and mechanical maintenance of industrial machines. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of plant equipment through timely repairs, routine inspections, and installations. Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:Perform fitting and assembly work on metal parts and structures as per drawings. Carry out arc welding, gas welding, and cutting operations as required. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of factory machines, conveyors, and tools. Install and align new machines and equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and repair/replace defective components. Maintain safety standards while working with welding and fabrication tools. Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications. Maintain records of maintenance work and update machine logs. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams for smooth operations. Requirements: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in welding, mechanical fitting, and equipment maintenance in an industrial setup. Proficient in using welding equipment, grinders, cutting tools, and hand tools. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Understanding of safety protocols and PPE usage. Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
