Foundry Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all foundry machinery and equipment, including EOT cranes, melting furnaces, electric and gas furnaces. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to foundry equipment. Ensure optimal operation of the foundry by monitoring equipment performance and implementing improvements. Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in the maintenance and repair processes. Work collaboratively with the production team to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability. Preferred candidate profile 2 to 6 years of experience in the foundry industry with a focus on machinery maintenance. Strong knowledge of EOT cranes, melting furnaces, electric and gas furnaces, heat treatment systems, and HT Line maintenance. Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial setting. Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and procedures.
