Our mission is to improve waste management through smart, scalable tech solutions. Job Overview We’re looking for a freelance backend developer to support us in building and managing our backend infrastructure. The project involves real-time data processing, background task handling, and cloud deployment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework Implement background task queues with Celery and Redis Work with Kafka for handling real-time events and messaging Deploy and manage backend services on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) Integrate Google Maps API for live location and route optimization Optimize backend performance and ensure data security Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code Collaborate with the team to test and troubleshoot issues Skills Required Python and Django REST Framework Celery + Redis Kafka (basic to intermediate level) AWS services Google Maps API Git version control Qualifications 1+ year of backend development experience is mandatory Open to all educational backgrounds Able to work independently and meet deadlines How to Apply Send your resume, GitHub profile, or project links to: support@trashandler.com Let’s work together to build better tech for greener waste management!
