Job Title: Frontend Developer (with UI/UX Expertise) Location: Kolkata Type: Full-Time Experience: 1–3 years Industry: E-commerce / Startup / Fashion Tech Job Overview: We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Frontend Developer with a strong sense of design and user experience to join our growing team at Ohh! Buddie – a fast-paced fashion quick commerce startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building seamless, responsive, and aesthetic user interfaces while also contributing to the user journey design. Bonus if you bring a basic understanding of backend technologies to bridge frontend-backend integration more effectively. Key Responsibilities: Develop responsive and interactive frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect web components. Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain UI consistency across platforms. Work closely with product, marketing, and tech teams to implement new features and improve existing ones. Conduct regular UI/UX audits and suggest design improvements based on user feedback and analytics. Manage version control using Git and follow best practices in frontend coding. Bonus: Collaborate with backend developers to implement APIs and ensure smooth data flow between client and server. Requirements: 1–3 years of proven experience in frontend development. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred). Experience with UI/UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. A strong portfolio of web projects demonstrating UI/UX sensitivity and clean coding. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and async programming. Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Bonus: Working knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Express, or similar) and database basics (MongoDB, MySQL, etc.). Good to Have: Experience in e-commerce or fashion-related projects. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, etc.).
