This also includes expanded responsibilities surrounding all infrastructure support including application monitoring, software build machines, and software support servers. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant global exposure to the employees. Koch Equity Development acquires Transaction Network Services (TNS) on 2021-04-14. LLC is the acquisition and investment subsidiary of Koch Industries. TNS is a leading global provider of data communications and interoperability solutions for the payments, telecom and financial markets industries. What You Will Do Aiding with analysis, problem-solving, development and delivery of maintainable and efficient software solution elements across TNS business capabilities. Develop software which meets or exceeds TNS quality and performance standards. Function collaboratively as a member of a professional technology team engaged in the structured and prompt delivery of technology solutions. Pursue self-improvement, innovation and the adoption of best practice to enhance the team's productivity and effectiveness. Develop and execute test plans that thoroughly test applications and allow for quality implementation of applications. Prepare and maintain documentation of applications and systems. Communicate status, issues and risks with leaders promptly. Deliver outcomes that fit within the design direction and architectural boundaries provided by the design team. Provide consistent and improving level of quality within the code base, working with the Quality Assurance team to allow an efficient, high quality test capability. Provide delivery outcomes that minimize impact on operations while maintaining third-level support, delivering increased stability to TNS enterprise applications. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 6 to 10 years of IT/Engineering experience. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent Experience developing Java and J2EE applications. Advanced experience developing with Spring & Hibernate based Java applications and libraries. Advanced knowledge of working with APIs in distributed systems, including experience with SOAP and REST-based web services and clients Strong experience developing with JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with React. Ideally experience with jQuery, AngularJS or Angular Can work both independently and in a team setting Demonstrated experience creating work item estimates. Ability to independently manage time, working towards and meeting agreed deadlines. Experience preparing and maintaining documentation of applications and systems. What Will Put You Ahead Experience working within a Scrum team and understand the various Scrum roles. Experience writing User Stories and acceptance criteria. Experience with Git and Atlassian suite of products such as Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Confluence. Experience with test-driven development using JUnit and Selenium. Experience with design documentation.
