Details: Position: EIA Coordinator / Functional Area Expert (FAE) ~ Any Functional Area Experience: Min. 1 Year, Retired Officers can also apply. Highest Qualification: MSc. Environment Salary: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 (Negotiable for Deserving Candidates) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and qualified EIA Coordinator / Functional Area Expert (FAE) to join our Environmental Consultancy team. The ideal candidate will coordinate and prepare Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and provide expert input in their respective functional areas, ensuring compliance with national environmental regulations and guidelines (MoEFCC, QCI-NABET). Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects. Prepare, review, and finalize EIA/EMP reports in line with applicable regulations and QCI-NABET requirements. Provide expert technical input in specific functional areas such as Air Quality (AQ), Water Pollution (WP), Noise and Vibration (NV), Soil Conservation (SC), Ecology and Biodiversity (EB), etc. Conduct site visits, baseline data collection, and impact assessment studies. Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities (MoEFCC, SPCBs), and other stakeholders. Ensure timely submission and presentation of reports for appraisal and clearance processes. Support Public Hearing processes and technical presentations to EAC/SEAC committees. Maintain documentation for QCI-NABET accreditation audits. Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in environmental assessment. Requirements: Must be approved/accredited as EIA Coordinator and/or FAE under QCI-NABET scheme (latest version). Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Ecology, or related discipline. Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in EIA preparation and coordination. Strong knowledge of EIA Notification 2006 and amendments, MoEFCC guidelines, and sector-specific requirements. Proficiency in using environmental modeling tools (e.g., AERMOD, CALPUFF) is a plus. Excellent report writing, data interpretation, and analytical skills. Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Willingness to travel for site visits and public consultations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multiple functional areas (multi-FAE accreditation preferred). Familiarity with GIS applications and remote sensing data analysis.
