Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra (SNM) is a leading NGO based in Chiplun, Maharashtra, focused on wildlife conservation, environmental protection, and community education. We are committed to preserving biodiversity and empowering local communities through sustainable, impact-driven initiatives. We are seeking a results-oriented Fundraising Manager to lead our efforts in securing grants, CSR partnerships, and donor contributions. This is a strategic and hands-on role , ideal for someone with strong networks or proven experience in building fundraising efforts from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue grant opportunities, CSR initiatives, and funding sources aligned with SNM’s mission Lead donor outreach: connect with CSR teams, corporates, foundations, and social investors Develop compelling proposals, concept notes, and applications independently Coordinate with internal program teams to align proposals with on-ground initiatives Maintain a database of prospects, submissions, timelines, and follow-ups Support donor reporting and compliance post-funding Who We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, CSR outreach, or grant writing for NGOs Proven ability to work independently across the full fundraising lifecycle Strong communication, pitching, and proposal writing skills Existing network in CSR, philanthropy, or donor agencies (preferred) Familiarity with conservation or community development work is a strong asset Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, or a related field What We Offer Remote Role: Part-time, Full-time, Project Based Collaborative support from SNM’s core team Opportunity to contribute to high-impact conservation work Compensation aligned with experience and results To Apply Send the following to sahyadricpn@gmail.com with the subject: Fundraising Manager Application – [Your Name] Updated Resume/CV A brief cover letter outlining your approach to initiating funding opportunities Samples of past proposals or donor communications (if available) Show more Show less
