Customs Documentation & Communication:Handle all customs-related activities, including preparation and submission of necessary import/export letters.Respond promptly and accurately to customs inquiries, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations.Coordinate and liaise with customs officials to resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the import/export process.Export and Import Activities:Manage the container stuffing activities pertaining to examination and destuffing (unloading goods from containers to / from examination area) in the yard.Ensure that all goods are handled in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Manage the movement of cargo between the warehouse and shipping containers.Warehouse Operations:Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse, ensuring proper inventory management.Follow up on Long standing goods with Importer, CHA and CustomsServing all necessary documents / letters to Customs / Importers/ CHAs to ensure that long standing goods are removed on time.Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure that all export and import goods are processed efficiently and accurately.Handling Operational queries /claims received from warehouse goods.Correspondence Management:Respond to outstanding customer inquiries, including old letters and follow-up requests related to previous shipments or customs issues.Communicate effectively with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders regarding the status of import/export shipments.Compliance & Reporting:Ensure that all activities are compliant with international trade laws and company policies.Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions, correspondence, and customs documentation.

Coordinate with Customs brokers, client, shipping lines, transporters, and customs officials for efficient cargo clearance.Manage container tracking, yard planning, and inventory management.Ensure timely inbound and outbound movement of cargo as per schedules.Monitor cargo documentation to comply with regulatory requirements.Supervise loading/unloading activities to maintain safety and operational efficiency.Coordinate with internal teams (sales, customer service, finance) for smooth workflow.Manage warehouse operations.Prepare required report & MIS related to Import and Export movement within yard.
