GCX is Hiring for General Ledger Accounting Specialist_Seawoods_Navi Mumbai.Experience - Minimum 5yrsQualification - CA (Inter CA not qualified as per requirement)Salary - Best in IndustryRole Summary a) Fixed Assets Accounting in SAPb) Accounting for CWIPc) Capitalization of Fixed Assets in SAPd) Knowledge of IFRS IAS 16 e) Preparation of Fixed Assets Registerf) Preparation of Fixed Assets Schedulesg) Local GAAP and Group Financials Fixed Assets Register and Schedulesh) Monthly and periodic Fixed Assets MISi) General Accounting & Book Keeping j) Finalization of Accounts of the Entity on monthly / periodic basis k) Assisting in preparation of Tax Return of the Entityl) Review of Balance Sheet GL Code balances and coordinate with team for correct periodic balances. m) Ability to finalise trial balance for reporting and Audit n) Coordinate and completion of GAAP A/cs Local Audit, take responsibility to work independently with other team, external consultant and Audit team for timely completion.i) SAP Vs Local GAAP Entries in to SAP to ensure SAP Balances reflect balances per GAAP A/cs.Role & responsibilities a) Fixed Assets Accounting Accurate accounting of Fixed Assets in SAP, Accounting for CWIP, Fixed Assets Register, Local GAAP Fixed Assets Register, Audit support for Fixed Assets, Reconciliation of Assets with records of Operations Systemsb) Audit - Furnish information and explanation to the Statutory Auditors and Group Auditors ensure completion within stipulated time frame. c) Financial Statements:- Work with internal teams and external consultants, furnish necessary information required to prepare Local GAAP Accounts of Entities for Filing and for Audit team. Tally Intercompany Balancesd) Statutory functions Comply with all regulatory requirements applicable; submit Returns to Statutory Authorities like Surveys or statistical returns.
