Job Description

Rain Cements, a thirty-nine-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement , is looking for an experienced General Manager Mines for the Greenfield Cement Plant at Adilabad location, Telangana. You will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, ensuring that all mining activities are conducted safely and efficiently, and well versed with statutory compliances and mining regulations. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and direct all mining operations, including drilling, blasting, and excavation Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and central regulations Perform routine inspections to ensure the safety and integrity of the mine structure and equipment Collaborate with geologists and other specialists to assess the feasibility and economic value of mining sites Ensure efficient extraction and processing of minerals, optimizing for cost-effectiveness Supervise, train, and manage mine workers, fostering a productive, safe, and respectful working environment Prepare and manage budgets, controlling costs and ensuring profitability Communicate with stakeholders, reporting on production, safety, and environmental impact Stay updated on industry advancements and implement new technologies and techniques to improve mine performance General knowledge of business, including statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to the manufacturing industry in India. Requirements B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mining Engineering from a reputed university. First Class Mining Certificate Minimum 20 years of experience in cement industry. Aged between 40 to 50 years. Should be fluent in English and Telugu. Excellent interpersonal and management skills to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Strong ability to give attention to detail and to perform multiple tasks at the same time Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders, cultivate partnerships, and collaborate effectively across departments or functions within organizations Perks and Benefits Emoluments will be at par with the best in Industry.
