Job Description

Role & responsibilities We are looking for a dynamic and experienced GM Projects to lead and manage real estate development projects in Bangalore. The candidate should have a strong background in project execution, team leadership, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Tamil, English, Kannada, and Telugu is essential to handle local site teams, vendors, and government officials effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of residential and commercial real estate projects. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and in-house teams to ensure timely and quality completion. Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resolve any on-site issues. Liaise with government departments and local authorities for permits, approvals, and inspections. Review project drawings, BOQs, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and project review meetings. Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid project delays or cost overruns. Report project status to top management on a regular basis. Ensure all works comply with legal, environmental, and contractual regulations. Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities Excellent planning, execution, and coordination skills Strong knowledge of civil engineering, construction, and real estate project lifecycle Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Fluent in Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu (mandatory) Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Masters degree preferred) Minimum 15 + years of experience in real estate project management Experience handling projects in Bangalore and surrounding areas is an added advantage Candidates based in Chennai but willing to travel/work in Bangalore are also eligible
