General Manager - Quality (Commercial Vehicles Seating and Interiors)- Indore Reports To: Executive Director Role- Quality Head - Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control, systems and strategies to ensure the highest quality standards in the manufacturing and assembly of automotive interiors, seating systems, and specialty vehicles. Key Responsibilities: - 1. Process Excellence & Quality Control o Conceptualize and lead the quality management strategy aligned with business objectives. o Align process & product quality strategies across the value chain to meet business needs. o Set direction for Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Sigma, and Sustainable Development initiatives. 2. Process Management & Quality Improvement o Lead quality interventions such as TQM, TPM, Six Sigma, PFMEA, IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, and Control Plans. 3. Functional Leadership- Ensure communication and monitor compliance with company policies, and quality standards. o Develop a periodic review process to incorporate new ideas and technologies in QMS. o Manage customer interactions and visits to understand customer expectations and ensure alignment with quality standards. 4. People Management o Lead and manage the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. o Drive T&D programs to enhance the skills and expertise of the quality team. Qualifications: -  BE/ ME in Engineering, Mechanical/Automotive /Equivalent.  Experience: Minimum 25-30 years of experience in a quality management role within the automotive seating Systens or specialty vehicle industries. Key Skills & Expertise:  Extensive knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., VDA, IATF, JIS).  In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection Moulding, casting, machining, and painting.  Proficiency in using quality control tools like SPC, PPAC, Control Plans, FMEA, Poka Yoke, 7, QC Tools, and MSA.
