Job Description

Role Description : As an Azure/DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our cloud infrastructure and automation efforts. You will leverage your expertise in Azure services, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to build and maintain a scalable and reliable environment. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues, automate processes, and collaborate effectively will be crucial to your success. Responsibilities : - Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates). - Implement and maintain Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Networking. - Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and performance. - Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies. - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or other relevant tools. - Automate software build, test, and deployment processes. - Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Integrate automated testing and security scanning into CI/CD pipelines. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages. - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments. - Implement and manage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). - Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or other relevant tools. - Proactively identify and resolve performance and availability issues. - Set up alerts and notifications for critical system events. - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Participate in incident management and problem resolution. - Document infrastructure and deployment processes. - Implement security best practices in Azure and DevOps pipelines. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. - Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments. Qualifications : Experience : - Proven experience in designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure. - Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture. - Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python). - Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). - Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights). - Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
