🎯 Role OverviewThe Godown Incharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role involves managing inventory, supervising staff, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating logistics to meet organizational objectives. 🔑 Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records. Warehouse Operations: Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensure proper labeling, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse. Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff. Organize shifts to meet operational requirements and ensure productivity. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety guidelines and compliance standards within the warehouse, ensuring a secure working environment. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods. Oversee the accurate picking and packing of orders, minimizing errors and ensuring on-time delivery. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Arrange for repairs and maintenance as needed. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing goods, as well as stock movements. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedul ✅ QualificationsEducation: Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous. Experience: Prior experience in warehouse management or a similar role is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
