Job Title: Godown Manager / Stockyard Incharge Location: Pashamailaram, Hyderabad Job Type: Full-time Salary: 5 LPA Industry: Iron and Steel Only Experience: 3 to 8 years in warehouse, stockyard, or inventory management Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Godown Manager / Stockyard Incharge to oversee all warehouse and stockyard operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory control, stock handling, workforce management, and maintaining operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock, conduct regular stock audits, and minimize discrepancies. Warehouse Operations: Ensure smooth handling, storage, and dispatch of goods as per company guidelines. Team Supervision: Lead and manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance. Logistics Coordination: Work with transport teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods. Stockyard Maintenance: Ensure proper stacking, storage, and safety of materials. Compliance & Safety: Implement safety protocols, ensure fire and hazard safety measures are in place. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain reports on stock movement, damages, and consumption patterns. Vendor & Customer Coordination: Handle vendor communications related to stock replenishment and customer inquiries regarding stock availability. Key Skills & Requirements: Proven experience in warehouse or stockyard management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP software. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of safety regulations and warehouse best practices. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred). 4 years of experience in warehouse or stockyard operations.
