Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Production Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering. Or B. Des. in Industrial Design / Product Design / Graphic Design. Or Any other equivalent Professional Degree in Design, Engineering, or Technology. The candidate must possess a sound knowledge in the following core areas: Product Design: In-depth understanding of the design process (Design Cycle/Design Thinking), including research, ideation, prototyping, evaluation, and iterative improvement and capacity to deliver and implement the design concepts in the teaching and learning process. Expertise in critical thinking, creative thinking, problem solving skills and innovation specific to product design & development. Graphic Products: Proficiency in visual communication techniques, Sketching \u2013 Creative and Technical drawing (Engineering Graphics). Digital design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc,). Proficiency in CAD Modelling (2D & 3D \u2013 e.g., SketchUp, Fusion 360, Blender), and branding principles. Resistant Materials: Knowledge of various materials (wood, metal, plastics, composites), their properties, and applications in design and manufacturing. Proficiency in creative modelling with different media (Paper, Card, Cardboard, Styrofoam, natural & artificial wood, metals, plastics, etc.). Systems and Controls: Understanding of mechanical systems, electronics, automation, and control mechanisms used in product design. Manufacturing Processes: Competency in Prototyping Techniques and expertise in handling the associated machinery (3D Printing, Vacuum Forming, LASER Cutting & Engraving). Familiarity with industrial and workshop manufacturing methods, including CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting, and traditional craftsmanship. Expertise in Woodworking (handling Lathe, Planer, and other associated cutting & shaping tools), Metalworking (Lathe, Welding, Soldering, Sheet Metalworking, and other associated cutting & shaping tools), and Plastic fabrication techniques. Mastery in planning, implementing, and effective quality management in product design & development. Sustainability and Innovation: Awareness of sustainable design practices, environmental impact of materials, and emerging trends in design technology. Teach MYP Mathematics in alignment with IB curriculum objectives, ensuring conceptual understanding and interdisciplinary connections. Teach IBDP Mathematics (Analysis Approaches and/or Applications Interpretation, SL/HL) as per the IB syllabus, preparing students for Internal Assessments and External Examinations . Develop inquiry-based lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Guide students in Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE) , ensuring strong research and analytical rigour. Utilize real-world applications, mathematical modelling, and technology (Desmos, GeoGebra, TI calculators, etc.) to enhance student understanding. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through discussions, explorations, and investigations. Integrate Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and global perspectives into Mathematics teaching. Stay updated with IB curriculum developments, assessment reports, and best pedagogical practices. Key responsibilities Teaching & Curriculum Support Assist students in developing research and information literacy skills aligned with the IGCSE syllabus. Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into lesson plans and research projects. Conduct library and information literacy sessions for students. Reading Promotion & Engagement Organize reading programs, book c lubs, and author visits to promote a reading culture. Recommend books based on students\ reading levels and interests. Create engaging library displays and reading challenges. Planning and Execution: Oversee the operation and management of the School Library and resources. Serve as teacher, materials expert, and curriculum advisor to ensure that library is involved in instructional programs of the school. Develop and implement strategies to maximize and leverage digital content that meets the research and educational requirements of the school. Identify and implement services and resources that enable students to develop skills in researching, evaluating, synthesising information to complete assignments, and enhance and support their learning. Support and guide teachers with identifying relevant content and resources that are required to meet lesson objectives and can be integrated into lesson plans. Serve as an information resource for users of the library and provide staff development opportunities for teachers. Understand the specific requirements of the curriculums the school offers, to ensure that the school meets the full range of literacy skills necessary for the optimum implementation of the curriculums. Identify, implement and maintain suitable library management tools and resources that ensure their seamless access and utilization by all the users of the library. Catalogue and classify learning resources in the library resource centre and develop and maintain accurate and reliable catalogue and lending systems. Select, acquire, purchase, organise, advise on and promote learning resources in all formats which support the curriculum and learning and teaching in consultation with school management and other teaching staff. Plan and manage the annual budget for the management of all library resources. Design the library and media centre environment so that it is conducive to learning and relevant to the interests of students. Participate as an active member of decision making teams in the school, to ensure the continuous enhancement and development of library resources. : Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for various dishes according to recipes and instructions provided by senior kitchen staff. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained always. Execute basic cooking techniques such as chopping, slicing, grilling, and saut ing under the guidance of more experienced chefs. Cooking: Work on assigned stations in the kitchen to prepare and cook dishes as directed by the senior kitchen team. Monitor cooking processes, temperatures, and presentation to ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency. Assist in the plating and garnishing of dishes before they are served to guests. Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils as needed. Adhere to kitchen safety and sanitation standards always to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
