Job Role: Google Workspace Engineer Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Google Workspace Engineer to work in an associate role. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, deployment, configuration, administration, optimisation, maintenance and support of Google Workspace services. You will play a critical role in ensuring customers gain maximum value from Google Workspace services, driving adoption, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, configure, manage, optimise, maintain and support Google Workspace solutions/services, including migration and integration with third-party tools. Provide expert-level technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to Google Workspace products such as Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Meet. Manage users, groups, and access permissions through Google Admin Console and Google Cloud Identity. Implement security policies, DLP, 2-Step Verification, and device management. Improve technical workflows through scripting and automation, ensuring performance, scalability, and smooth operations. Ensure data retention, compliance, and recovery policies are in place. Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers optimise Workspace features and align solutions with their business goals. Collaborate with sales and other cross teams to deliver technical demonstrations, product briefings, and proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions for prospective customers. Provide training and documentation to customers and internal teams, fostering a more profound understanding and adoption of Workspace features. Required Skills/Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in roles such as Workspace engineer or specialist. Proven track record of implementing or supporting Google Workspace solutions within an enterprise environment. Experience with Google Workspace(Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Google Apps Script, APIs, and automation tools. Expertise in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or Java) to automate processes and solve recurring challenges. Strong Knowledge of security best practices, endpoint management, compliance policies, Gmail security settings, and Google Vault. Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, and identity federation. Provide training and documentation to customers and internal teams, fostering a more profound understanding and adoption of Workspace features. Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Relevant Google Cloud Certifications are a strong plus. Job Role: Google Workspace Architect Role Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced and innovative Google Workspace Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale Google Workspace solutions. This senior-level role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and the ability to guide customers through complex migrations and integrations. As a Workspace Architect, you will play a key role in aligning technical solutions with business goals, ensuring security, scalability, and optimal performance in cloud-based collaboration environments. Key Responsibilities : Design and develop end-to-end Google Workspace architectures tailored to meet organisational needs, ensuring scalability, security and long-term sustainability. Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, secure, and efficient Workspace solutions. Lead large-scale migrations to Google Workspace environments, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless user adoption. Build solutions that integrate Workspace tools with other cloud and on-premises platforms, including third-party systems. Connect Google Workspace with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Google Cloud Identity) and enterprise applications. Leverage Google Apps Script, APIs, and third-party automation tools to enhance workflows. Define and enforce security policies, including zero-trust architecture, data loss prevention (DLP), and Google Vault retention policies. Establish governance frameworks for managing Google Workspace at scale. Conduct technical workshops and consultations to educate internal and external teams on Google Workspace technologies, best practices, and security frameworks. Act as the technical lead in customer engagements, providing expert insights and strategies to achieve customer goals with Workspace implementations. Optimize Workspace environments for security, compliance, and performance, proactively identifying potential risks and resolving complex issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer success teams, to improve existing solutions and advocate for new features. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to anticipate future customer challenges and drive innovation. Required Skills/Qualifications : 7+ years of Google Cloud experience in technical roles. Comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture, particularly hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Deep expertise in the Google Workspace suite, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, and Admin Console workflows. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for improved operational efficiency. Strong knowledge of API integrations and system interoperability, including RESTful APIs. Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including identity management systems, directory services (LDAP, Active Directory), and security protocol. Strong knowledge of IAM, OAuth, SAML, and identity federation. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot configuration, network, and service performance issues. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical solutions effectively to diverse audiences. Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee small-medium-large-scale implementations and cross-team collaborations. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as Google Professional Collaboration Engineer and Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable. Compensation: Day rate of INR10,000 to INR15,000 per day Permanent salary between 20 lakh to 50 lakh, depending on the experience Working from Home Opportunity to travel onsite
