QAD is seeking an Graduate Trainee, QA Automation & Manual Engineer who will perform professional Quality Assurance functions outlined below. Non-complex testing activities are performed independently. Maintain the automated functional tests and integration tests. You will also be responsible for analyzing results and maintaining communication with functional teams and writing/updating the automated test scripts. What you ll do: Execute manual and/or automated tests and ensure test completion. Document, retest and track defects until resolved. Define, produce, maintain and report applicable test metrics. Regularly monitor test results, Analyze issues identified during tests and identify the source of defect as functional, data or test case. Maintain the test scripts and test cases as per quality standards and procedures Become familiar with the functional aspects of the application. Create / update documentation as required and maintain communication with stakeholders. Maintain proficiency in new testing tools enabling patch testing by training formally and informally. Bachelor s degree in computer science, business or quality assurance. 0 to 1 years experience in a Software quality testing environment.
