Job Description: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Flooring Designer to join our dynamic team at Simachi Design India Private Limited, a leading company in the flooring industry based in Singapore. As a Flooring Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional flooring designs while working closely with clients to understand their needs and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Design innovative flooring solutions based on client requirements, floor plans, and project specifications. Use design software such as CorelDRAW and Photoshop to create detailed and accurate visual representations of flooring layouts. Analyze and interpret floor plans, floor drawings ensuring that designs meet client needs, space usage, and building regulations. Provide recommendations on suitable flooring materials, colors, textures, and patterns based on client preferences and budget. Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to revise designs and incorporate feedback. Ensure all designs align with company standards and are delivered within the agreed timelines. Calculate and prepare material estimates, ensuring the efficient use of materials and cost-effective designs. Stay updated with the latest trends in flooring design, materials, and technologies. Requirements: Proven experience as a Flooring Designer or in a similar role. Proficient in CorelDRAW and Photoshop for designing and visualizing flooring concepts. Ability to read and accurately interpret floor plans and architectural drawings. Strong understanding of flooring materials, their applications, and installation processes. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members. Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Creative problem-solver with a passion for design. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
