Bal Pharma Limited is seeking a Group Product Manager (GPM) / Product Manager (PM) to lead the strategic planning, marketing, and life cycle management of pharmaceutical brands. The role requires expertise in brand management, market analysis, product positioning, and sales enablement to drive growth in the domestic and international markets. Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Brand Management: Develop and execute brand strategies, marketing plans, and promotional campaigns for assigned products. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify opportunities and threats. Drive brand positioning, differentiation, and messaging for target audiences (doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, etc.). Product Lifecycle & Portfolio Management: Lead new product launches and ensure successful execution. Monitor product performance metrics, sales trends, and market feedback to optimize portfolio strategies. Work with R&D, regulatory, and supply chain teams to manage product availability and compliance. Marketing & Sales Support: Develop promotional materials, visual aids, and digital marketing content to support field teams. Conduct training programs for sales teams on product knowledge, positioning, and messaging. Align with sales leadership to set go-to-market strategies and revenue targets . Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), distributors, and internal teams to ensure brand success. Liaise with regulatory teams for product approvals and compliance requirements. Collaborate with advertising agencies, digital marketers, and external partners to drive brand visibility. Qualifications & Experience: Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc / MBA (Marketing or Pharma Management preferred). Experience: For Product Manager: 3-6 years in pharmaceutical product management. For Group Product Manager: 6-10 years, with experience in handling a team. Proven experience in managing Acute, Chronic, Specialty, or Generic Pharma portfolios . Strong understanding of therapeutic segments, prescriber behavior, and sales dynamics . Hands-on experience in digital marketing, brand launches, and salesforce engagement . Skills & Competencies: Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills . Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment . Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools .
