Job Description

We are looking for a detall-oriented and experienced GST Compliance Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth handung of GST-related tasks, such as notices, reconciliations, customer quaries, and preparation of rolevant reports. The candidate must have strong knowledge or GST procedures and a hands-on approach in resolving discrepancies in various GST returris Key Responsibilities: 1. Handle Notices: Review and respond to GST notices received from tax authorities in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate with internal teams to provide the necessary documentation and explanations. Assist in resolving any tax-related disputes or issues highlighted in notices, 2. TDS/TCS under GST: Ensure proper compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) provisions under GST Maintain records and reconcile TDS/TCS payments made to the authorities. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting of TDS/TCS deductions. 3. Customer Query Handling: Address customar queries related to GST, including concerns about invoicing, tax rates, and compilance. Provide clear and effective communication to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction. Maintain a record of common customer queries and create solutions to address recurring issues. 4. E-Invoice Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation between the e-Invoices generated and the GST returns filed. Identify and resolve discrepancies between e-invoice data and GST returns. Ensure compliance with the e-invoicing framework and assist in troubleshooting any issues during the reconciliation process-Books 5. GSTR-2 vs. GSTR-2B Reconciliation: Perform a detailed reconciliation of GSTR-2 (Purchase Return) with GSTR-28 (Auto-generated Purchase Data). Investigate and resolve any mismatches between GSTR-2 and GSTR-2B to ensure accurate input tax credit (ITC) claims. Ensure timely filing and corrections based on the reconciliation process. 6. GSTR-1 Working: Prepare and file GSTR-1 (Sales Return) on a monthly or quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review sales data to ensure proper classification of transactions and compliance with GST requirements. Coordinate with relevant teams to collect necessary sales data and maintain a proper filing system. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
