Position Summary We are looking for an Executive / Senior Executive Operations for our Bangalore plant. Executive Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational activities within a third-party (3P) manufacturing plant specializing in food snacks production. This role demands a blend of managerial expertise, technical acumen, and leadership skills to ensure the efficient functioning of the manufacturing plant while adhering to quality standards, safety regulations, and production targets.Job Description Operational Management:Lead and supervise daily operations to ensure smooth production processes.Monitor manufacturing activities, including raw material procurement, production scheduling, packaging, and distribution.Implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize operational costs without compromising quality standards.Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process to uphold product quality and safety standards.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Develop and enforce protocols for product testing, sampling, and analysis to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.Commercial AcumenShould have hands on experience of inventory stock reconciliation.Monthly, weekly material balancing post production runs.Should able to quantify production losses and analysis.Negotiations on cost with vendors.Supply Chain Management:Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and packaging materials.Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overages.Optimize supply chain logistics to minimize lead times and enhance operational efficiency.Safety and Compliance:Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Train and educate staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures to mitigate workplace accidents and incidents.Performance Analysis and Reporting:Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and productivity.Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate operational insights, achievements, and challengesEducation & Skill Sets Required BE/BTech in Mechanical / Electrical/ Food Tech. Minimum 3 to 8 Yrs of experience in operations management within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in snacks & namkeen production.Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality control processes, and manufacturing best practices.Able to handle plant breakdowns , maintenance , Capex/Opex management.Must be conversant with contract manufacturing requirements and must have spent some part of a career in handling 3P operations in food snacks.Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.Good understanding of problem-solving tools (like Fishbone analysis, Why-Why analysis, Pareto chart, 80-20 rule, brainstorming).
