Responsibilities:Make sure to meet financial finalization timeline for all clientsMake sure all applicable tax returns are filed well before due datePerform month-end close processPrepare/Review necessary month-end close journals with relevant & sufficient backupsReview monthly balance sheet reconciliation by the due date and help team to resolve unreconciled items on a timely basisPrepare reports for submission to authorities (e.g. Quarterly/Monthly VAT/HST/GST/Sales tax returns)Finalize Year-end audit working papers for auditorsUndertake special projects when requiredReview and finalize variance analysis with commentaryIntercompany processingPayroll processing and finalizationRole & responsibilities Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (e.g. CPA, ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent) OR CA InterExperience 3-5 years experience in a multi-international organizationWorking knowledge of country-specific GAAP (e.g. UK, US, Canada) including IFRS a plusKnowledge of CaseWare considered a plusBasic understanding of local taxation rules in particular sales tax (e.g. Vat for UK, GST/HST for Canada) a plusProficient in double-entry bookkeeping conceptsStrong math and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft EXCELExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust work standard hours of the location supportedAbility to work to strict and tight deadlinesAbility to manage and prioritize workloadPrior Experience with Quick Books, Simply Accounting or Xero is desirable but not
