Job SummaryWe are seeking an Event Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing events for Acharya Mridul Kant. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage teams, coordinate event logistics, handle social media accounts, and assist with sales activities. The role requires someone who is spiritually inclined, possesses leadership qualities, and has experience in event management and digital outreach.Roles and responsibilitiesPlan and execute spiritual events, retreats, workshops, and community gatherings. Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and attendee registrations. Ensure smooth operations during events, managing schedules, speakers, and volunteers.Lead and manage a team of volunteers and staff to ensure efficient event execution.Manage and curate content for social media platforms, promoting events, spiritual teachings, and the work of the monks. Increase social media engagement through strategic campaigns, posts, and event promotions. Respond to inquiries and maintain a positive online presence that reflects the values of the spiritual community.Ensure that all events and activities are aligned with the spiritual practices and values of Acharya and the organization.Skills RequirementsMinimum 2-3 years of experience in event management, team coordination, or a related field. Experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and handling online engagement. Basic understanding of sales or fundraising activities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
