Job Description

Required Skill Set (In case of IT requirements) Proficiency in hardware design and PCB layout review Strong background in design verification testing and BOM maintenance Hands-on experience with failure analysis and root-cause investigation Familiarity with ORCAD Capture CIS, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced networking products, including high-performance network switches. Review hardware circuits and PCB layouts to ensure adherence to design guidelines, manufacturing feasibility, and cost efficiency. Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including evaluating second-source components and mitigating supply chain risks. Conduct thorough design verification tests, analyzing signal integrity, power requirements, and system coexistence. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues identified during prototype builds or in production and RMA scenarios. Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, thermal, QA, and project management teams to ensure end-to-end product success. Provide feedback on design derating, manufacturing (DFM), assembly (DFA), and cost (DFC) considerations for continuous improvement. Maintain documentation of design updates, test outcomes, and technical learnings for future reference. Desired profile of the candidate: 3+ years of experience in hardware design, ideally focused on Switch/Server/Chassis hardware. Strong foundation in electronic circuits, high-speed design, and power management methods. Working knowledge of compliance regulations (ESD, Surge, Safety) and relevant industry standards. Experience with PoE (802.3at/bt), multi-G Ethernet PHY, and platforms like Broadcom, Marvell, Realtek, or ARM/MIPS/x86. Skilled in using EE lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) for debugging and validation. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
