Job Description

JD · Collection Strategies : Develop and implement national collection strategies to maximize debt recovery for collection efficiency. · Leadership : Lead & manage a team of Zonal/ Regional collection managers and staff. Retention of the productive employees. · Collection Operations : Oversee collection operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes. Makes sure employees comply with company policies when contacting individuals and other companies to collect past due balances that they owe. · Performance & Revenue Enhancement : Monitor and control collection performance, identifying areas for improvement and revenue enhancement. · Budgeting : Develop and manage collection budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness. · Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk, credit and sales. · Trend Management : Analyze collection data, identifying trends and areas for improvement. · Compliance : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and industry standards. Ensures that all written correspondence complies with company policies in terms of verbiage and frequency of contact. · Training : Develop and implement training programs for collection staff. Trains new employees and holds training reviews for established employees. Researches and locates missing information that is needed for the staff to perform their jobs at optimum levels. · Stakeholder Management : Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective outsourcing partnerships. · Collection Risk : Identify and mitigate collection risks, implementing strategies to minimize losses · Customer Centricity : Ensure customer satisfaction, resolving collection issues promptly and fairly. · Legal Governance : Keeps up with changes in laws governing debt collections and makes sure employees receive training on any changes in laws. · Continuous Improvement : Identifies areas of the collection process that need improvement and implements an enhanced process that will help collectors be more effective. · Negotiation : Negotiates payment arrangements and follows up to make sure the payments are made. · Technology Adoption: Adoption of business enabler project initiated by digital team.
