Job Description

Role & responsibilities Ensure smooth and efficient operation of effluent treatment plants, zero liquid discharge plant (Reverse osmosis, multiple effect evaporator, agitated thin film dryer plants etc.). Air pollution control and management. Ensure solid, hazardous, bio-medical waste, e-wastes management & handling as per regulatory requirements. Co-ordinate with landfill, incineration, co-processing & waste mixing facilities, recyclers etc. for disposal of hazardous waste. Also co-ordinate with concerned stakeholders for managing & handling of non-hazardous wastes. Fulfill all requirements of regulatory bodies such as Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Pollution Control Boards etc. and monitor compliance. Prepare technical details including calculations of pollution loads for environmental impact assessment, consent to establish/operate etc. Should be acquainted with XGN and online regulatory submissions. Liasoning with statutory authorities (PCB, MOEF & CC etc.). To implement the guidelines / SOPs laid down by the Management on EHS. Also prepare and implement the guidelines / SOPs on environmental management, whenever required. To maintain records, documents etc. as per the requirement of the stakeholders. Capex & OPEX preparation, implementation & monitoring. To guide the plant personnel for smooth operation of Effluent Treatment Plant, RO, MEE and ATFD and help them for troubleshooting. Preferred candidate profile M.Sc. / M. Tech. Environmental Management Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering function of a Bulk Drug Pharma manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, etc.) and industry best practices. Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project execution. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems. Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Perks and benefits ;30% Hike on current salary
