Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals. Provide financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning. Identify risks and opportunities to improve financial performance. 2. Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulations. Oversee compliance with tax laws, corporate governance, and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS). Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies for statutory audits. 3. Budgeting & Cost Control Prepare annual budgets and monitor financial performance. Optimize cost structures and drive efficiency across departments. Implement financial controls to reduce expenses and improve profitability. 4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment planning. Optimize capital structure and oversee debt/equity financing. Ensure adequate liquidity for business operations. 5. Risk Management & Internal Controls Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies. Establish strong internal controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. 6. Stakeholder Management Act as a key financial advisor to the CEO, board, and leadership team. Manage relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Present financial reports and insights to stakeholders. 7. Technology & Process Improvement Leverage financial technology (ERP, automation, analytics) to improve efficiency. Drive digital transformation in financial operations. Enhance financial reporting and data-driven decision-making. 8. Leadership & Team Development Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and succession planning. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Align financial policies with overall business objectives.
